Flawless Finishing Touches for Tech Firms

Galvanize, a Denver firm that runs technology campuses for startups and individuals, selected Brinkman Construction through a competitive RFP process. This two-story tenant finish project was constructed within the LEED Platinum, Pearl West office building located in downtown Boulder. Designed by SA+R, environmental graphics and mezzanine space were the two primary features. The main level included hot rolled, blackened steel letters embedded into the concrete floor. Brinkman worked with the concrete subcontractor and finishers to deliver a flat surface with flawless finishing touches.

The team identified the second floor mezzanine as a potential scheduling risk and took a creative approach to meeting the leasing deadline. To meet the client’s tight schedule, Brinkman Construction held a collaborative review meeting with the structural engineer, steel fabricator, and erector to expedite procurement of mezzanine materials. This project was successfully delivered in 16 weeks allowing Galvanize to quickly lease-up space to tech companies of all shapes, sizes, and stages.

This was the first of two Galvanize locations Brinkman Construction, office builders in Colorado, built for the tech company.
