Brinkman Construction welcomes well-established industry leader Chris Bantner as Chief Operating Officer. The company was recently named among the Top 20 General Contractors in the Mountain States region by revenue and this hire will further drive Brinkman’s strategic planning and execution while optimizing operating procedures.
Bantner joins Brinkman with decades of experience establishing and sustaining organizational structures and positioning teams for success. His leadership of multibillion and multimillion-dollar projects for diverse sectors including multi-family, healthcare, municipal and higher education have led to unparalleled expertise in navigating client relationships, mitigating risk and developing employees. His leadership experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at GH Phipps, Managing Director of Kiewit-Turner, a joint venture for the Denver VA Medical Center between Kiewit Building Group and Turner Construction and Senior Vice President/General Manager at Kiewit Building Group. Prior to that, he spent 20 years directly managing projects. Within these roles, he improved performance for his division and significantly decreased employee turnover.
With a strong background in leadership development, Bantner is passionate about leading teams and developing and enhancing employees. A portion of his role will be dedicated to further reinforcing the internal development opportunities available to Brinkman Construction employee owners.
Bantner has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Lincoln and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Development Program through Kiewit/Purdue University/University of Chicago.
