Beyond the Typical Warehouse Construction

This nine-month warehouse construction project consisted of a 50,368 SF addition to the existing 25,000 SF OtterBox Distribution Warehouse. The addition was constructed using precast concrete panels and structural steel. Most of the new space was designed for high-pile storage and included three new dock doors with levelers.

The expansion abuts the west wall of the existing space and is designed as a three-sided structure, using the existing west wall to close in the addition. To provide passage between the new and existing warehouse spaces, two large sections were removed from the adjoining wall.
