From pre-construction hand-off to project completion, Project Engineers play an instrumental role in the coordination and execution of construction projects. Providing critical assistance to Project Teams in the areas of bid analysis, project financials, document coordination, project close-out, the implementation of programs related to storm water control, and QA/QC and safety, Project Engineers contribute to the success of Brinkman Construction’s projects in many ways, both big and small.
This is a highly collaborative role in a relationship-driven organization where Project Engineers frequently coordinate with subcontractors, trade partners, management staff, senior leadership and Brinkman Construction’s clientele, so the ideal candidate will be a confident, capable and adaptable communicator.
As a ‘Point of Entry’ position for graduates of Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering degree programs, Project Engineers have ample opportunity to take advantage of training and development programs and stretch assignments designed to expand their knowledge, skills and abilities as construction professionals, and to pursue professional certifications including OSHA 30, SWMP and First Aid/CPR.
