Brinkman Construction is proud to announce that Joe Martinez CHST, has joined the team as our new Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Manager. With over a decade of experience in safety leadership, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge in training, compliance, and environmental management—strengthening our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.

In his role, Joe will oversee company-wide safety programs, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, manage employee health and injury cases, and support project teams with environmental and stormwater management. He will collaborate closely with company leadership and field managers to promote a strong culture of safety and ensure best practices are consistently implemented.

Joe holds a degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University and is a Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). His professional expertise is further highlighted by his recognition as the 2024-25 Safety Professional of the Year by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Rocky Mountain Chapter—a testament to his exceptional leadership and dedication to the safety profession.

Having an experienced EHS Manager like Joe in-house allows Brinkman Construction to take a proactive approach to workplace safety, providing tailored training and on-site guidance that keeps our teams safe and our projects running smoothly. Joe’s presence reinforces our belief that a strong safety culture starts from within, and every employee plays a role in maintaining a safe environment.
