Aurora Ronald McDonald House

The Aurora Ronald McDonald House occupied renovation transformed 10,356 SF on the first floor of the 45-bedroom facility to better support families and staff. The project added six private bedrooms with bathrooms, relocated play spaces, and modernized office and meeting space for staff. Designed by Gresham Smith, the updates enhance functionality while preserving the warm, home-like atmosphere that is central to the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Brinkman Construction completed the renovation within an active facility where families and children were present daily, making safety and communication a top priority. The team implemented thoughtful signage and created engaging viewing areas that allowed children to safely observe construction progress, creating a sense of inclusion and excitement throughout the process.
