LOW INCOME SENIOR HOUSING IN FORT COLLINS GET A FACELIFT
The 11-story low income active adult apartments in downtown Fort Collins had a top-to-bottom renovation. DMA Plaza (now known as The Remington) was ripped down to its studs as part of a $16 million dollar renovation project partially subsidized through tax credits, The City of Fort Collins, MEHG and the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority.
The 70,000 SF building saw upgrades to both the interior and exterior. Interior work included new ventilation, heating, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and fire suppression upgrades.
Additionally, two of the building’s 127 units were removed to expand the laundry room and fitness center and to create a conference room.
