Eric Kesti
Eric Kesti is Vice President and General Manager of Brinkman Construction's Denver office. With a career spanning 28 years in the construction industry, Eric brings a wealth of experience and existing relationships that will significantly bolster Brinkman Construction’s presence throughout the Denver Metro area. Eric leads commercial business development strategies while executing the long-term vision and growing the company’s Denver employee base and community engagement.
Eric most recently served as the Special Projects Division Manager for Turner Construction Company. He has also served in leadership roles for Kiewit Building Group. He is actively involved in the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation and serves on the Metro Denver EDC Executive Committee, MDEDC Board of Governors, and Colorado Space Coalition.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from Michigan State University.
Dan Miller
Dan Miller is the Director of Human Resources and Talent Development for Brinkman Construction. He has more than thirty years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources.
Dan is a senior leader in the company managing HR in planning, implementing, and evaluating the human resource function and performance. He is also tasked with ensuring compliance with regulations, assessing staffing needs, hiring employees, and developing compensation plans for optimizing our employee experiences.
Dan holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and has a long history of community involvement.
Jason Vaughn
Jason Vaughn serves as Vice President, bringing extensive experience in construction management across the Colorado Front Range and Southeastern Wyoming. Over the course of his career, he held key leadership roles including Construction Executive, Director of Preconstruction, Preconstruction Manager, and Project Manager, working on multi-family, healthcare, K-12, commercial office, retail, and brewery projects.
In his current role, Jason provides strategic leadership to project teams by overseeing operations, preconstruction, and business development. He prioritizes effective communication between clients, trade partners, and field operations to ensure successful results at every stage of a project.
Jason’s approach is defined by his focus on building strong relationships and fostering early project engagement between preconstruction and operations. His cross-functional experience in various disciplines allows him to analyze projects from multiple perspectives, ensuring strategies are thoughtfully executed for successful outcomes.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Colorado State University. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional and BizWest 40 Under Forty honoree.
Matt Brown
Matt is a LEED accredited professional with a depth of industry knowledge and one of the Construction Executives for Brinkman Construction. He brings 14 years of experience in construction with a strong portfolio of completed projects including, extensive
experience with multi-million dollar university and institutional projects throughout Colorado and Wyoming
As Construction Executive, he is responsible for the success and oversight of projects from both a field and project management standpoint for streamlined responsibilities and effective communication from start to finish. Matt’s primary role requires control of personnel, communication, staffing, and subcontractor deliverables to ensure effective expectations and results his clients can depend on during all phases of the project.
Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University.
Mark Christensen
Mark is Vice President of Operations for Brinkman Construction. He has decades of industry experience and has been directly involved in a variety of extensive projects. His experience includes airports, K-12 school buildings, medical facilities, multifamily work, government contracts, municipal buildings, and breweries.
Mark is responsible for the oversight of construction operations and plays a high-level role in ensuring that projects stay on schedule, within budget, and exceed client expectations. He works directly with project teams, focusing on improving and ensuring consistency in our operational standards and project execution.
Mark is a graduate of the Leadership Fort Collins Program and serves on the Professional Advisory Development Board for Colorado State University’s Construction Management program and a member of the Larimer County Workforce Development Board.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska.
Dave Maddocks
Dave is the Chief Financial Officer for Brinkman Construction. Dave spent the first part of his career in public accounting and auditing for government institutions His background has been focused on auditing leadership and internal control, process, and financial reporting best practices.
Today, he leads the enterprise financial business strategy for the company while overseeing fiscal and investment management of company operations.
Dave is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of American Institute of CPAs and Construction Financial Management Association. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado. He was a BizWest 40 Under 40 Honoree and a graduate of the Leadership Fort Collins Program.
Jim Ciesla
Jim is the President & CEO of Brinkman Construction. Prior to Brinkman, he worked for a national design-build development and construction company in Arizona. He has been with Brinkman Construction since the company’s founding.
In 2016, Jim played a significant leadership role in transitioning Brinkman Construction to a 100% employee-owned company. Today, he is focused on leading the strategic, financial, and operational vision of the company through long-term planning and inspiring a culture of leadership throughout employees.
Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and is a LEED AP professional. He was a BizWest 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2014.
Jim’s community involvement has included being on the Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain Board of Directors, Poudre School District Long Range Planning Advisory Work Group, and the Colorado State University Strategic Operating Plan Process.
